Hey there, I’m Daniel! My passion for geography began early on, which ultimately led me to the world of Geographic Information Systems (GIS). For more than 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of architecting and building end-to-end solutions.

I specialize in a wide range of things, including designing robust databases and building REST APIs. I also handle back-end optimization and create intuitive front ends with React. Ultimately, my main goal is to make complex geographic data easy for everyone to use.

When I’m not coding, you can find me sharing my knowledge on my blog. This is where I dive into the nuts and bolts of GIS and offer solutions to the challenges I encounter. Additionally, in my free time, I love to stay active. For instance, I’m often training for my next marathon. I’m also a passionate chess player and, perhaps most importantly, I love to travel and explore new places.
